Services
At Bledsoe Truck & Trailer Repair, we aim to prevent problems before they happen. We use the latest vehicle diagnostic technologies and the highest quality parts for servicing and repairs.
Diesel engines don't fail quietly. By the time a check-engine light comes on or the rig starts losing power on a climb, you're already on borrowed time. The Bledsoe diesel-repair team works on Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR, and Caterpillar engines — diagnostic scans, injector replacement, turbocharger service, head gasket and head work, top-end and in-frame overhauls. Every job starts with a real conversation about what the truck has been doing, ends with a written diagnosis, and gets you back on the road as fast as the parts allow.

Service tiers and rates
Bledsoe Truck & Trailer Repair works on 3/4-ton trucks through Class 8 semi trucks and trailers, including annual D.O.T. inspections, scheduled fleet service, and repair work for owner-operators.

24/7 Road Service
24/7 road service available. $150 per hour, port-to-port. No per-mile fee. Port-to-port means the clock starts when our truck leaves our shop and stops when it returns. You're paying for the round trip plus the on-site work - not separate mileage fees. If a call comes outside our direct dispatch window, we route through a trusted partner network. You're billed the same $150/hr port-to-port rate either way.
Truck Repairs
Trailer & Other Equipment Repairs
From troubleshooting wiring issues to the replacement of decking, Bledsoe Truck & Trailer Repair offers service and maintenance repairs for all types of trailers including flatbed, van, heavy haul, and fifth-wheels to name a few. We also service and repair some farming and construction equipment such as diesel tractors and forklifts.
Complete service menu
This is the working menu drivers ask for first: diagnostics, diesel work, oil, transmission, clutch, suspension, electrical, tires, major replacements, parts, parking, and road service.
Parts Counter
Bledsoe stocks the kind of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts regional drivers need most often. Counter service stays fast, straightforward, and built around getting your truck back to work.

Truck Repair
When a top-end overhaul isn't enough, our shop is equipped to pull an engine, rebuild it on the stand, and reinstall — all without sending your truck to a manufacturer dealer at three times the cost. We handle in-frame and out-of-frame rebuilds on the major diesel platforms used in over-the-road operation: Cummins X15 and ISX, Detroit DD15 and DD16, PACCAR MX-13, and Caterpillar C15. Every rebuild ships with a written service record so your DOT history is clean.

Diagnostics
A turbocharger doesn't fail on its own. By the time the boost is gone, there's usually an oil-feed line, an intercooler crack, an EGR fault, or a contaminated intake driving the failure. We diagnose the entire forced-induction system before we replace anything — that's how we keep customers from coming back in three months for the same problem. Service covers VGT and fixed-geometry turbos on all major heavy-duty platforms, EGR cooler service, DPF regen issues, and intercooler boost-leak diagnostics.

Tires, Brakes & Wheels
Tires are usually a fleet's second-biggest operating expense after fuel. We service drive, steer, and trailer positions — installation, balancing, alignment, and pull-and-rotate inspection — on the brands you already run: Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Continental. While the wheels are off, we inspect brakes, slack adjusters, and seal condition, so you find the small problem before it becomes a DOT violation or an on-highway breakdown.

Diagnostics
Cooling and electrical issues are the most under-diagnosed failures in heavy-duty trucks. An overheating gauge can mean a leaking radiator, a stuck thermostat, a slipping fan clutch, or a head gasket starting to fail — same symptom, four different fixes. Same with electrical: a dim headlight could be a corroded ground, a charging-system fault, or a wire chafing inside a loom. We work the diagnostic tree end-to-end so the truck leaves fixed, not "fixed for now."

Trailer Repair
Trailers are profit centers when they're moving and cost centers when they're sitting. Bledsoe services flatbeds, dry vans, reefers, and lowboys — kingpin and fifth-wheel inspection, axle alignment, brake and ABS service, landing gear, lights and electrical, roof and floor repair, sliding tandem service. We're set up to inspect and turn a trailer in the same day for most service categories, so the trailer is back hauling instead of sitting.

Preventative Maintenance
Small fleets and owner-operators can't afford the same downtime tolerance the megacarriers have. Bledsoe builds custom preventive-maintenance programs — A/B/C service intervals tuned to your routes and load profile — so the trucks come in on a schedule you can plan around. PM programs include oil and filter, brake and tire inspection, air system check, electrical and starting system, and DOT pre-trip documentation.
Delivery
Local delivery is a real differentiator. Customers within about 10 to 15 miles can often get parts brought to them instead of pulling a driver off the road to fight traffic.
Monthly truck parking
Park close to the shop and close to the highway. Bledsoe Truck & Trailer Repair offers monthly truck parking in a secure on-site lot for drivers, owner-operators, and fleets working south OKC and OK-TX corridor routes.
Quick answers
3/4-ton trucks up to Class 8 tractors and trailers. If you can drive it on a CDL, we can work on it. We do not service passenger cars or light vehicles below the 3/4-ton range.
Yes. Dry vans, reefers, flatbeds, dump, lowboy - both the running gear and the structural side. Trailer work is half of what we do, which is why the shop is Bledsoe Truck & Trailer Repair, not just truck repair.
We do not provide towing. If you need a tow, we can refer you to a local operator we trust. Once your unit is at our shop or at a roadside stop we can reach, we take it from there.
Yes. 24/7 road service available. Call the shop and you'll reach someone who can dispatch. Our shop bay hours are Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, but breakdowns don't keep business hours and neither do we.
$150 per hour, port-to-port. No per-mile charge. We bill from the time we leave the shop to the time we get back, plus the work on-site.
It means the clock starts when our truck leaves our shop ("port") and stops when it returns. You're paying for the round trip plus the work, not separate mileage fees. It's the simplest, most predictable way to bill roadside in this region.
Sometimes. If a call comes in outside our direct service window or our trucks are already committed, we'll dispatch through a partner network we trust. You're billed the same $150/hr port-to-port rate either way - the partner answer just means the unit shows up faster.
We're based south of OKC and run a regional book of business. Direct coverage includes: Newcastle, Blanchard, Chickasha, Norman, Moore, Pauls Valley, Ardmore, Lawton, Dibble, Alex, and the OK-TX corridor. Calls outside that ring are case-by-case - give us a buzz.
OEM and OEM-equivalent. We source through national truck-parts networks including FleetPride and MHC Kenworth, which means we can pull most hard-to-find parts faster than a one-shop operation. We are not a dealer or warranty center for any of those vendors - we're a buyer like any other independent shop, with the relationships to make the calls land.
Yes. On-site truck parking is $125/month plus tax. Drop the trailer, leave the tractor, come back when you need it. Limited spots - call first.
Call (405) 833-0943 - that's our primary line, monitored during shop hours and routed to dispatch outside shop hours. For email, send the details (unit, location, what's wrong) to dbledsoe@stringershop.com and we'll come back to you.
Owner-operated by Darrel Bledsoe, running a regional truck and trailer repair shop that serves owner-operators and fleets across the OK-TX corridor. We're a small crew that does the work right the first time and bills you in plain English.
